Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost to participate?

Online registration is available on RaceRoster.com until a couple of days prior to the event. The price to register begins with an early bird rate and increases gradually as the event date gets closer.

Is there a fundraising goal in addition to the registration fee?

The goal is for each rider to raise $50 or more toward Prospera’s programs and services in addition to the registration fee. Each registered cyclist will have a page to share with friends and family to meet or exceed their goal in support of Prospera, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.

What is included in the cost?

All riders will receive a participation medal, refreshments and mechanical support throughout the ride, lunch and access to a Latin festival with food, music and exhibits at the park.

How do I register?

Riders have the option of registering online until two days prior to the event, at packet pick-up the day before the event, and on-site since 6 a.m. We strongly suggest that you register early to pay a lower price for registration and avoid the rush.

Do you offer jerseys?

Of course! Tour Latino jerseys this year will be produced by mumu. You can see the 2020 design and sizing chart here. Jerseys ordered by December 14 are guaranteed delivery by the event date.

When can I pick up my rider packet?

Additional packet pick-up locations and schedules will be announced closer to the event date.

  • 12 noon until 5 p.m. on Friday, February 21 at Prospera’s Orlando office (inside the Orlando Fashion Square Mall at the National Entrepreneur Center, 3201 E. Colonial Dr. Suite A20, Orlando, FL 32803)
  • If you can’t make it to an option above, you can pick up your packet since 6 a.m. on event date

Do I need to be a racer to ride in Tour Latino?

No, you can choose from one of four bike routes with varying degrees of difficulty for both beginners and advanced riders across the hilly terrain of Lake County in Central Florida. The 10 and 25-mile routes are designed with families and less experienced riders in mind.

Will there be timed sections?

You bet!  Two sections will be timed on the 60 and 100-mile routes. Placement medals will be awarded per age and gender category.

Are there restrooms at the start location?

There are restrooms at the park next to Waterfront Pavilion. There will also be portable restrooms at the SAG stations.

Do I need to wear my wristband?

Definitely! Wristbands enable event organizers to easily identify you as a rider and will give you access to lunch after the ride.

Who will get a medal?

All registered riders who complete a route will receive a participant medal at the finish line.

Can I buy a jersey and have you ship it to me?

Of course! If you place your jersey order online after we run out of your size, you can pay the shipping fee and we will mail them to your preferred address when we receive the post-event jersey order. Please refer to this year’s sizing chart here to ensure a proper fit.

Can I give you my credit card information over the phone to pre-register?

No, you need to register and pay online to sign release forms and provide additional information.

Can I register at the ride on Sunday morning?

Absolutely! Online registration will close on Friday prior to the event but you can register at the packet pickup locations (see above) or on the day of the event starting at 6 a.m. Registration prices are higher the day of the event, so we encourage you to pre-register online.

Can a non-rider eat lunch?

Lunch is sponsored by Zaza New Cuban Diner as a courtesy for registered riders, event volunteers and exhibitors. There will be alternatives available at the park for family and friends.
